Amber & Tyler | A Summer Wedding at The Guelph Arboretum

Amber and Tyler’s wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale. From the moment we arrived at The Guelph Arboretum, it was clear that this was going to be a day full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Surrounded by nature at one of their favourite spots, it was the perfect setting for these two to begin their next chapter together.

We were lucky enough to do Amber and Tyler’s engagement session at the same location, which made their wedding day feel all the more meaningful. The couple had visited this beautiful place countless times to birdwatch, and it only felt right that they would tie the knot here. As we wandered through the trails, we even got a visit from a hawk—a fitting and symbolic moment for this couple that has such a deep connection to nature.

One of the most moving parts of the day was their ceremony, which took place beneath a magnificent tree in the Arboretum. It was impossible not to feel the love and emotion in the air as Amber and Tyler exchanged their vows. They spoke from the heart, and their words had everyone in the crowd in the feels. There were plenty of laughs, a few tears, and lots of smiles as the couple made promises to one another that would carry them through their new life together. The setting was intimate, peaceful, and absolutely breathtaking—everything a ceremony should be.

During the reception, we snuck out to let me just say—the most stunning sunset! The sky was painted in rich shades of gold, pink, and lavender, creating the most magical photos. And wow, it was so worth it and we were so glad we didn’t miss it.

The reception was filled with excitement and surprises, the first of which was an incredible drag queen performance that had everyone laughing and cheering. Amber and Tyler’s guests were fully invested in the show, which created an unforgettable energy as the night went on. Everyone was up on their feet, ready to keep the party going.

Once the performance was over, the dance floor opened, and it was time for the real celebration to begin. The energy was absolutely electric as guests danced, laughed, and celebrated with Amber and Tyler. It was a perfect mix of fun, love, and joy, and it was clear that everyone was having the time of their lives.

Looking back on Amber and Tyler’s wedding day, it’s hard to choose a favourite moment because every part of it was filled with love, connection, and beauty.
